Helping Women, Babies
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who joined us or contributed to our Sept. 12 fundraising dinner for the Our Lady of Guadalupe Home.
Approximately 350 attended, and we needed over a dozen tables to accommodate many beautiful items donated by generous local businesses for our silent auction, raffle and door prizes.
As we mentioned at the banquet, one of our key goals is to provide a home for vulnerable mothers and babies in time of crisis. The generosity of the good people of Windsor and Essex County is essential to enable us to realize that goal, since our home is entirely funded by fundraisers and donations.
According to all reports, everyone enjoyed the dinner, the prizes and the music while providing our home with approximately $9,000 to realize our dream of helping women and babies in their time of need.
