Our Lady of Guadalupe – Home for Young Mothers Shelter is a non-profit organization that supports and cares for young mothers in crisis or who have no place to live. It is a faith-based organization that ensures the safety and well-being of our young mothers under our care. We are looking for an additional board member to join our Board of Directors to assist and support the existing Board of Directors’ team. The ideal candidate should be able to bring life experiences that will support our current mission statement and the diversity of skills currently on the team. We are looking for someone who is of the Catholic or Christian faith and has past experiences in the communication or social media sector. This volunteer position entails working with a team of professionals with a commitment to partake in 4-6 board meetings per year. Your connection and/or past experiences with the local community and various community agencies will be deemed an asset to the team. Prior experience in other professional fields (i.e. Medical, Social Services, Communications, and/or Health Care as an example) would also be an asset. Volunteers Needed
