Greetings, all!
Many thanks to all who contributed to our Yard Sale: donations of time, treasure and talent.
Special thanks to our Garage Sale Committee for their tireless work, spanning several weeks: Marina, Catherine, Hanna, Merle, Mimi, Monica and Rebecca. Surely God will bless you, 100 fold and more.
The sale brought in $761.90. We’re planning to use the funds for another excursion to Ripley’s Aquarium in Toronto. Last year’s sale raised approximately $1,000 which covered the train ride, lunch and supper in Toronto for 5 women and their babies plus 2 staff members (Ripley’s donated the Aquarium tickets).
There was a little left over from last year’s trip to apply to this year’s excursion, but we will likely need extra money to cover the cost. We’re hoping some of you might be willing to contribute to this venture.
Thank you and God bless you, one and all!
Sr. Linda

Greetings, all!
Many of you have asked how we did at the 2019 Benefit Dinner. Thanks to your generous support of this affair we can answer that it was far and away the most successful Fundraiser to date, raising a profit of more than $26,000.
There are so many people to thank, but I dare not mention specific names, lest I forget some.
On behalf of Our Lady of Guadalupe Home I want to offer heartfelt thanks to the groups and individuals who contributed so much of their time, their talent and their treasure to make this year’s Benefit Dinner such a success:
-our Fundraising Committee who worked tirelessly (no exaggeration) for months making preparations
-volunteers who provided decorations and offered their service in setting up and cleaning up
-people and businesses who donated items (Door Prizes, Silent Auction, etc.)
-people, organizations and businesses who donated tickets or gave monetary donations (especially the K of C)
-and last, but by no means least, all who purchased tickets and who came to have dinner with us, giving us the joy of being together and having fun
Thank you, and may God bless and reward each and every one of you 100-fold and more!
Sincerely,
Sr. Linda Dube
